SIP amplification attack analysis and detection in VoLTE service network

摘要

The rapid development of mobile communication technology has enabled VoLTE service, a voice communication service using LTE network and requiring IMS networks. Using IMS networks and SIP protocol has caused threats to the VoLTE service network, including SIP amplification, which was not a problem before. SIP amplification is an attack that generates several responses using one SIP message on the VoLTE network. This paper analyzes SIP amplification attack and proposes how to detect it.
