摘要

The shock initiation of kinetic energy block with large mass to different covered explosiveswas described. Using Ansys AutoDyn-3D simulation software, three typical explosive(Comp.b, PBX-9404 and OCT) are chose. Through calculating the kinetic energy blockimpacting covered explosive with 10# steel cover plate of 10mm to 40mm at angles of 0 to80, critical velocity for ignition which can initiation explosive has been gained, andfunctions of velocity-impact angle at different cover thickness are also obtained. The resultsshow that initiation velocity increases nonlinearly with the impact angle; initiationmechanism of explosives is different because of different sizes of impact angles; PBXexplosive is more liable than the other two explosives. The results provide data support towarhead design of air defense and damage assessment.
