摘要

In this paper, results of the numerical analysis of the heating process of apenetrator are presented, as well as its influence on strength properties. Results ofcalculations show distributions of temperatures in particular elements and areas ofthe penetrator. Results of dynamic tests of the tungsten alloys specimens arepresented (being the main structural material of the penetrator), which werecarried out on the modified Hopkinson’s split bar at 300°C temperature ofspecimens.
