Asian dust appears in the atmosphere in spring, spreads over long distances, and affects significantly on the environment. Scattering and absorption of Asian dust can be observed in the atmosphere at different angles on the basis of diurnal movement of the Sun. For this purpose, we used a solar tracker, which provides the Sun pointing and tracking. We present an optimal optical model of the solar tracker for atmospheric spectroscopy. A solution of the problem of loss stability of epy tracker pointing at the Sun near the zenith is shown. Test results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed optimization methods.
