Hydrogen is recognized as a promising renewable fuel source that can address the current energy-and enyironmental----- problems associated with fossil fuels. However, there are still many obstacles,, to overcome.40 realize "hydrogen economy" for large-scale applications in the future. Innovative technologies for hydrogen production, storage, and utilization must thus be developed to achieve hydrogen economy, arid among them, a safe and sustainable hydrogen storage is essential for commercialization. In this regard, significant efforts'have beeri made to develop liquid-based chemical hydrogen storage materials because liquid hydrogen'carriers are easily stored arid transported [1].
