the examination of the load frequency control problem in a single area electrical power system which consists of a thermal power plant with a reheat turbine and interconnected with PV station and Wind farm has been presented. The paper aims to study and reduce the impact of connecting the renewable energy sources of wind farms and PV stations on the power system load frequency. Furthermore, the application of a novel adaptive control algorithm based on an optimization technique called Jaya method has been introduced. The evaluating of the purposed control scheme-based Jaya method is carried out through simulations using Matlab / Simulink program. The results show that the system is stable and has a faster response under different conditions of operation.
