摘要

In order to adjust the airgap fixed flux density caused by permanent magnet, the Hybrid-excited Flux Switching machines was proposed by using both PM and DC winding excitation on stator structure. In E-core hybrid excited flux switching machine both the armature winding and excitation winding are located in stator slot. In fixed current density and fixed copper loss, Field to armature slot area ratio will affect on machines developed electromagnetic torque. In this paper the effect of variation of this ratio on the developed torque and torque ripples is investigated for a prototype FSPM machine employing Finite element analysis method by modeling of the motor with various field to armature slot area ratio.
