The process of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) involves the partial burning of coal underground. The product so called syngas is possible to use as fuel in electric generating plant and in chemical industry as raw material. The flowing of underground waters can cause danger or break off UCG. If a syngas leaks in vulnerability area, it can be the cause of poisoning and explosion in this zone. In this study is presented mathematical model and simulation cases of flowing underground waters and the leak of syngas through overburden. The simulation model has been built by using Darcy's law for saturated overburden. Outputs from simulation afford opportunity to analyze these negative impacts of UCG.
