Simple visualization tool for analysis of satellite orbits and constellations

For more than 50 years, satellite systems have been utilized in various fields and this trend is still progressing. Therefore experts and specialists in this domain are still required and efficient trainings are needed. Unfortunately, laboratory experiments for investigation of the satellite-Earth systems are difficult to realize so suitable visualization tools are efficient way how to support education as well as research of satellite systems. In order to support education in this subject we proposed and developed the 3D visualization tool SIT which enables and simplifies for students to understand rules and behavior of such systems. This paper introduces this tool and describes its basic functions and usage.
