Noninvasive glucose monitoring techniques based on optical coherence tomography (OCT) are affected by several perturbing factors, including variation in the temperature of the tissues, whose must be taken into account. We propose a process of compensating the error induced by the variation of the tissue temperature on the blood glucose without placing any temperature sensor within the OCT probe. The compensation is based on direct reading and analysis of the OCT signal.
