摘要

A 600kW permanent magnet traction motor is taken as a research object in this paper, based on the computational fluid dynamics and the numerical heat transfer theory, a three dimensional for fluid flow and heat transfer model is established. Thus, the temperature field and fluid field of permanent magnet traction motor are simulated numerically using the finite volume method. Calculation results reveal the rule of temperature distribution for the permanent magnet traction motor, and provide the theoretical basis for cooling structure design and temperature accurately calculation of permanent magnet traction motors of larger capacity. This paper has a reference value and significant guideline for designing permanent magnet traction motors.
