This research presents a new design of modified electrical controller structure of DFIG-based Wind Power Plant for transient stability analysis. In order to perform the transient stability analysis, the system is perturbed by a six-cycles three-phase transmission line fault. This new design consisted of AVR-PSS controller instead of using multistage PI controller in rotor field d-axis. The results showed that the new structure design could overcome the transient stability of DFIG-based Wind Power Plant under the fault.
