摘要

Aiming at the problem that reactive compensation positions usually concentrate on the branches with heavy load, this paper proposes a method based on a clustering algorithm to select the location of reactive power compensation point of the distribution network. For the compensation capacity determination, it is obtained through the particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO). Besides, according to the operation economy of the power network, the mathematical model of reactive power optimization is constructed with the minimum investment and operation cost as the objective function. Finally, simulation result of the IEEE28-bus and IEEE33-bus distribution systems show that the proposed method is correct and effective.
