摘要

A grand challenge in knowledge representation is building the intelligent systems for Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Education. In math education, the intelligent problem solver (IPS) must have sufficient knowledge to solve problems automatically, and their solutions are natural, step-by-step and can be understand by the learners. Besides that, Solid geometry is a hardly subject of mathematics to study for the high school studens. In this paper, an IPS in solid geometry is designed. The knowledge base of this system is represented based on Rela-model which is a knowledge model about relation. The inference engine of this system has been also built based on the algorithms to solve problems on objects and model. It shorn solution clearly and step-by-step. This system has been tested on various kinds of solid geometrical exercises in high-school mathematics of Vietnam education.
