Based on analog joint source-channel coding (JSCC) scheme, SoftCast approach can gracefully avoid the cliff effect. And SoftCast is outperformed by the DCast scheme which combines JSCC scheme with distributed source coding (DSC) theory. Considering the disproportionate distribution of frequency coefficients, we propose an optimized power allocation SoftCast (OPA-SoftCast) scheme which has a significant performance improvement compared to SoftCast. In addition, we develop a novel adaptive GoP dividing video coding (AGD-Cast) scheme. It integrates the benefits of DCast and the proposed OPA-SoftCast. Compared to DCast scheme, AGD-Cast scheme effectively improves the quality of reconstructed I-frame, and it has better performance when scenarios of video source change rapidly.
