摘要

In this paper simulation model of controller for switch reluctance motor (SRM) drive is presented using sensorless technique. SRM is a rotating electrical machine and falls under a special class of motor wherein both stator and rotor have salient poles. simulation results for open loop as well as closed loop both in speed loop and current loop are presented at different speeds in this paper. In open loop, control is done by applying limited voltage to limit the current. Although there is no current controller in closed loop with outer speed loop only, speed is tracking the reference speed. In closed loop control with inner current loop, current observed is within limits. Thus all the schemes explained in this paper work satisfactorily.
