This paper presents an adaptive dead time control for bridgeless GaN based MHz critical conduction mode (CRM) dual phase interleaved Totem Pole PFC. It can achieve the ZVS turn on for all switches in full input voltage range. The theoretical analysis for ZVS turn on both for the main switch and synchronous switch by adaptive dead time at full ranges has been investigated. Then the digital implementation of adaptive dead-time control was introduced. Finally, a prototype of 1kW dual phase GaN based MHz CRM Totem Pole PFC prototype was built to verify the feasibility of the proposed approach.
