This modelling is conducted to finding correlation between transient voltage that injected on bushing and electric field that occur. The method that is used on this modelling is by simulate dry lightning impulse test on bushing for transformer with several software. Bushing type that used on this study is oil impregnated paper. The output of this study is to determine the effect of capacitor grading on bushing, the correlation between transient voltage and electric field, and maximum electric field that occur if bushing was injected with transient voltage level that exceed its BIL capability. All in all, this study provide technical evaluation using software COMSOL and FEMM in terms of electric field and transient voltage capability of oil impregnated paper bushing.
