摘要

In this paper, it is represented the performance of five level inverter fed by a photovoltaic PV generator and the induction motor is supplied by the inverter. In this context, the power converters are used for two main tasks. The first is a power DC-DC converter with MPPT technique to ensure a PV array to operate at maximum power point and ensure adjustment of the DC voltage. The other converter is five level inverters which is used to convert the DC voltage to AC voltage and to minimize the harmonic distortion in the output waveform without decreasing the inverter power output. However, the object in this paper is to present a study in terms of performances of five levels inverter with induction motor powered by PV generator. The control applied to these inverters is the sine - triangle PWM control. Simulation results of this study are implemented in Matlab-SimPower System platform.
