IT value model validation for e-banking using the partial adjustment valuation approach: The case study of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk

摘要

A huge number of banking customers attract banking industry to develop delivery channel so that customer can use banking service anytime and anywhere. Information technology plays an important role to provide these channels. Hence IT investment in banking industry increases year by year. This research aims to investigate the impact of IT investment in banking industry especially to provide e-banking services. Validation process carried out by comparing performance ratio without presence of IT and with presence of IT. Empirical analysis examines that performance ratio with presence of IT is better than without IT. Therefore IT has a positive impact to e-banking performance.
