1. In the United States, the history of corrosion testing can be traced back to 1899 2. Most of corrosion revoived around single environment testing such as ASTM B117 till the early 1980s. 3. In the early and mid 1980, cyclic corrosion testing started to gain acceptance. 4. Since then, multiple test conditions have been added to the cyclic mix for corrosion.
