摘要

The rapid advance in the web and mobile computing technologies enables people to produce, provide, and share a varied form of data and information. In the domain of geo-spatial information science and engineering, GIS has employed a geo-sensor network and mobile devices to provide spatial services without any temporal and spatial restrictions. However, to provide user-oriented information, a context information model is necessary to associate spatial data with non-spatial data from various devices. In this research, a GIS based air-pollution information system was designed and implemented, employing the context awareness model that expresses the relationship of various data from maps, sensor networks and mobile applications. The proposed system is designed to provide air-pollution warning services after collecting air-pollution data from a sensor network as well as to reflect the analysis results on an air-pollution policy.
