Tissue scaffolds for increased biocompatibility and cell adhesion were produced from novel photoactive, biode-gradeable, and biocompatible polyester diacrylates. Highly efficient photocuring was demonstrated, and sample 3D printed objects with clearly defined geometries were created using mask-projection microstereolithography (MPμSL). These polyester networks will be used in future cell viability and adhesion assays to determine their suitability for such an application.
