This paper offers an innovative method for truss bridge rehabilitation by introducing alightweight concrete floor system with edge beams and post-tensioning adjacent to the bottomchords of the truss. The proposed method strengthens the existing bridge and providesredundancy which are the two most crucial issues for public safety. Furthermore, it provides adurable infrastructure with a greater resistance to deflection issue.
