We propose high-speed milling of Y-TZP as a method for achieving precision machining without using an outside heat source or expensive cutting tools. Our experiments revealed that precision machining of Y-TZP was achieved when cutting occurred in the brittle mode. Specifically, the best surface quality and the smallest tool wear were obtained at a cutting speed of 670 m/min and a feed per edge of 330 nm.
