Recent years, the single-point mooring cage system has received muchmore attention because of their eco-friendly characteristics. Numericalsimulation is performed to analyze the hydrodynamic behavior of aself-submersible single-point mooring gravity cage in waves andcurrent. The effect of the frontal rigid frame and depth of junction pointon the submergence performance of the SPM cage system is analyzed,in addition, different reserve buoyancy of net cage structure isconsidered. The results show that the frontal rigid frame can improvethe deformation of net cage significantly in comparison with thecounterpart without a frame.
