摘要

The variation in elastic shear moduli measured by bender element testsand nonlinear strains in axial and radial direction of the triaxialspecimens during creep was experimentally investigated. Theweathered residual soil in Korea was used as testing material. Due tothe ageing the post creep stress-strain curve exhibited stiffer responsethan the pre-creep stress-strain curve. It was found that the variation ofelastic shear stiffness and nonlinear deformation during creep dependson the stress ratio and initial relative density. Continuous change in thestiffness anisotropy during creep was closely related to the patterns increep deformation.
