The Case Study of Vortex Induced Vibration of Over-sea Bridges and Vibration Suppression

摘要

This case study shows the vortex-induced vibration of over-seabridges due to wind loads and it is verified by measured data.Measurement sensors such as accelerometers, anemometers anddisplacement measurement sensors are installed on the bridge forstructural health monitoring system. Also this paper presents theexample of suppression of vibration by installing tuned mass damper.
