This paper presents a kind of contactless power supply method which can be used on high speed maglev train. By this method, the train can achieve contactless inductive power while running above a certain speed by electromagnetic induction, through the induction coils mounted on the vehicle and stators mounted on the track. There are also several groups of batteries installed on each vehicle and power supply points arranged along the track. With the onboard induction coils and batteries, the maglev train can run at all speed ranges without any contact to the ground power supply. It also sets several independent and redundancy power nets in one vehicle to promote the reliability of the vehicle power supply. It can satisfy the requirements of high reliability and safety of the high speed maglev train.
