Building Information Modeling (BIM) is changing the way building projects are executed. It is more and more adopted and the list of projects where BIM is used in one or the other way is growing. BIM is a process that needs to be supported by proper tools. Beside 3D Modeling tools there is need for managing and connecting information and give easy access to the information at any place, any time with any device. For that Nemetschek developed a complete new platform called bim+. A cloud based platform that supports the collaboration between the different participants in a building project. It is fully model based and has a low entrance. One of the highlights of this platform is the openness; supporting open standards like IFC and an API is available for everybody to connect all possible information to this platform. Also the business model is quite unique in our market. And last but not least we offer a platform for people to develop and sell their own creative ideas to improve the workflow in the building industry.
