Proposal for Enhancing UTP2 with Test Aspects

摘要

There are several research papers and practices on test architecture. UML Testing Profile is standardized as a notation based on UML mainly for test system architecture. But there is no standardized concept or notation for test suite architecture. The test engineer usually extracts some aspects of test object based on a development model while designing the test suite architecture. This aspect can complement a development model. It is useful to define this concept and notation about the aspect derived from test engineers' concern. In this paper, we propose the concept and notation of test aspect and test aspect model that describe the concern of test engineers when designing a test suite architecture using UML Testing Profile.
