Generation reliability is always a main topic in power systems. Disturbance rejection strategies should be developed to mitigate transient disturbance and ensure stability of energy supply for distributed generation system (DGS). In this study, doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and DC-DC step-down converter are exemplified as AC and DC microgrids, respectively. Two transient management to handle voltage dip of the utility grid, specifically for the DFIG topology have been discussed. For a DC/DC converter, an average current sharing (ACS) scheme for secondary control is introduced. Technique to specify parameters for PI control is also implemented. Simulation results are provided for validation.
