A Systematic Analysis and Statistical Modeling of Wideband SEZs

A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is an important role of Indian contribution and GDP of our country. It is geographical region that has economic laws that are more liberal than a country’s domestic economic laws. Today, there are approximately 3,000 SEZs operating in 120 countries, which account for over 3, 33,661 Crores in exports and 16, 56,071 people’s jobs in September 2018. It has been recognized as an important mechanism for creation of infrastructure, employment generation, promotion of regional development, increase in foreign exchange earnings, improving export competitiveness and transfer of skills and technology. This study focused on SEZs in contribution to the Indian economy.
