Technological knowledge is a collection of information from each stage of the casting production preparation process along with production data and quality control data. Knowledge and experience are the most important factors for the dynamic development of each foundry. Efficient archiving and management of technological knowledge, including computer simulations, is a critical part of building competitive advantage. Each production process stage generate a lot of parameters, information, technologists annotations, analysis and technology comparisons. Knowledge base for technologists - SimulationDB completes a gap in informatics infrastructure in each foundry lets you fast and easy access to information from each technological process. The main conclusion is a lot of foundries don't have dedicated, management system for creating, preparing and analyzing technology which decrease production cost. Main purpose was to create simulation process and data management system for storing simulation results, technologies, cad files, animations, filling and solidification parameters, etc. The SimulationDB system is first step in technological data management. There is a lot of work in field of simulation process and data management systems. SimulationDB as a result of research work has a practical implication in foundries. This is a dedicated system for technologists which could be installed in each foundry.
