The purpose of this research is to develop the bulletproof prefabricated steel stud wall that can be installed rapidly. The users themselves can effortlessly repair the damage. The cold-formed steel stud wall is used in this research along with the 10-cm thickness insulation panel as the cladding for outer skin. This insulation panel is made from the foam concrete, concrete mixed with foam, that makes it lightweight and weather resistance. For ballistic protection purpose, steel stud wall is filled with 0.5mm thickness galvanized steel plates sandwiched with rubber. The test was conducted according to the United States National Institute of Justice Standard 0108.01. (NIJ standard 0108.01) to determine the level of protection of the wall systems. The shooting test was conducted at a distance of 15 m from the muzzle to the test sample with M16A1 riffle along with 5.56×45mm ammunitions. The wall panels consist of 10-cm thickness foam concrete attached with fifteen layers of 0.5mm steel plate satisfied the ballistic requirements for level III protection.
