摘要

The present work outlines the design and development of a gas turbine combustion experiment for advanced optical measurements. The rig is designed to provide optical access at realistic engine conditions. Mass flow closures are used to validate steady-state operation of the combustor. Advanced optical diagnostics are demonstrated at high power. Simultaneous Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence (PLIF) measurements are made at five kilohertz at conditions representative of gas turbine combustor operation.
