Block copolymers prove to be an efficient method to tailor adhesive performance, and provide an effective service window where moduli are independent block lengths, charge content and morphology. Herein, we have described different classes of triblock copolymers, which afford various synthetic avenues to create mechanically improved adhesives using ionic and hydrogen- bonding properties. This lecture will focus on the potential of new block copolymer designs on adhesive performance in various applications.
