33rd COMPUTERS AND INFORMATION IN ENGINEERING CONFERENCE (CIE)

Welcome to the 33rd Computers and Information in Engineering (CIE) conference. The CIE executive committee and technical committee are delighted to welcome you to Portland, Oregon. This year we had 159 papers submitted to our conference of which 117 were accepted and assigned to about 25 sessions. CIE conference is organized by the CIE division which has four technical committees: (ⅰ) Advanced Modeling and Simulation(AMS) (ⅱ) Computer Aided Product and Process Development (CAPPD) (ⅲ) Systems Engineering, Information, and Knowledge Management (SEIKM) (ⅳ) Virtual Environments and Systems (VES). The success of this conference is a testimony to the hard work of these technical committees and the topic and symposia organizers. We are extremely thankful for their outstanding service and leadership. We hope that this conference will provide you a stimulating environment for exchange of ideas and for your professional development.
