摘要

A novel transonic Lattice-Boltzmann method isused to simulate the unsteady flow of a genericaircraft configuration in cruise conditions. Agrid convergence study is performed andsimulation results at lower angle of attack arecompared to experiments. The effects of wingtwist and presence of a model support sting in thewind tunnel model are evaluated. Simulationsare executed also at high angles of attack in thebuffet regime. Numerical results comparefavorably with experimental findings andconfirm the importance of an accuraterepresentation of the geometry to achieve sameflow conditions measured in the wind tunnel. Thebuffet phenomena are well captured and the firstresults are very promising.
