An efficient power saving scheme and intelligent mechanism needs to be designed developed for reasonable energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) to improve the lifetime of the network. Cluster-based technique is one of the important approaches to reduce the energy consumption in WSNs. This research paper proposes an energy saving clustering algorithm to provide efficient energy consumption in WSN networks. The primary idea is to reduce the data transmission distance of sensor nodes in WSN by using the uniform clustering concepts. To perform an ideal distribution for sensor node clusters, the average distance between the sensor nodes is calculated and used to select the residual energy for selecting the appropriate clustering by location head nodes. The lifetime of WSN is extended by using the uniform cluster location and balancing the network loading among the clusters. The performance of the proposed algorithm optimizes the energy consumption and improves the network lifetime for the WSN. In addition this paper also detects the threats on cluster heads that results an impact on the packet delivery ratio. The challenge in designing these systems is to develop a robust in the face of myriad security threats is a priority issue.
