The paper describes the aerodynamic design ofa high lift system suitable for a Natural LaminarFlow wing. 2D & 3D numerical optimizationhas been used in the design process and theoutcome has been tested at flight ReynoldsNumber in the European Transonic Windtunnel(ETW), where various measurement techniqueshave been applied. An analysis on aircraft levelhas been performed to assess Natural LaminarFlow (NLF) wing’s drag benefits.
