Cotton stalk is an abundant agricultural waste available as a crop residue afterharvesting of cotton. The present study shows that cotton stalk can be used as an adsorbent forthe basic dye Methylene Blue from aqueous solutions. The equilibrium and kinetics ofadsorption were studied and represented by common theoretical models.
