A*DAX FOR TRANSPORT DATA MANAGEMENT, SHARING AND ANALYTICS

Transport data, including GPS data from vehicles and other types of data in a transport system, are essential for knowing the problems in the existing system and developing more intelligent transport systems. In this paper, we present the A*STAR Data Analytics and Exchange Platform (A*DAX), which is able to securely manage, easily share, conveniently analyze large size of various transport data. We introduce our platform architecture and components, with more focus on the parts supporting data sharing and analytics and visualization. In addition, we describe with use cases to illustrate how A*DAX can be successfully applied to transport data analysis and visualization. A*DAX offers great opportunities for researchers and developers to use the seamlessly integrated transport data and versatile tools and APIs to design innovative transport solutions and applications.
