Channel models suitable for testing radio module performance in 5.9 GHz ITS G5 (European) or DSRC (US) use cases are required to ensure effective operation of Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) applications. In particular the effects of Doppler and Multipath effects on transmitted signals are important elements of the radio environment and the ability of radio modules to operate under such conditions is required. The V2V uses cases dictate several important scenarios, many of which provide challenging radio propagation. In this document we list several radio channel models that may be used to investigate the performance of V2V radio modules on the bench. The models are derived by combining various field test executed by different parties over recent years.
