New assistive technology for communicating with and telemonitoring disabled people

The paper presents a complex system capable of ensuring both communication with people with major neuromotor disabilities and telemonitoring their essential physiological parameters. It is made up of two functional components: one for communication and one for monitoring, which share the same hardware platform and most of the software.
