The method of pulse-width control of a high power full-bridge converter with widely varied supply voltage based on variation of switching frequency and implemented as a proportional-integral controller with adjustable parameters is proposed. The proposed method allows improving dynamic characteristics of the system and limiting maximum current commuted by the transistors. The proposed control law allows receiving desired load voltage. The graphics corresponding to the measurements from the real device with 100 kW (175 ... 320 V/610 V) show the applicability of the proposed control method.
