摘要

The availability of a make-up water source to replenish the secondary side of the steam generators (boilers) is one of the important measures customarily addressed in CANDU Accident Management. A confirmation analysis of the efficiency of Steam Generator secondary side water make-up from the containment dousing spray system tank for a Station BlackOut scenario was performed for a generic CANDU~? 6 reactor and is discussed in this paper. The analysis performed in this study confirmed that crediting make-up water to the secondary side of the steam generators from the containment dousing spray system tank could prevent significant consequences during the postulated SBO severe core damage accident.
