The research team investigated technical possibilities of constructing a new complex perforating and fracturing device, mainly intended for typical matured oil and gas reservoirs. To this end the numerical model of the new tool was built and a simulation was performed to validate its functioning and impact of the cumulative jet on propellants. Further verification of the proposed technical solution was made by building physical models of the new tool, preparing propellants of a desired cylindrical shape, and finally performing firing experiments using the prepared models at a firing ground.
