To solve zero-sequence current problem of open-winding PMSG control system with a common dc bus, a novel model predictive current control (MPCC) method is proposed based on the analysis of the working principle of the OW-PMSG fed by dual inverter. Compared with conventional MPCC method of the open-winding PMSG control system, the proposed method can reduce the computation burden of the voltage vector from 19 to 5. Simultaneously, the steady-state performance can also be improved. Finally, simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
