摘要

This paper presents a numerical algorithm to analyze the magnetizing process of a four-pole isotropic bonded NdFeB permanent magnet, which is magnetized by using a capacitor discharge impulse magnetizing fixture. In order to predict the distribution of residual magnetic flux density accurately, a vector Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model is applied to simulate the magnetic behavior of the isotropic bonded NdFeB magnet. The analysis procedure by incorporation of external circuit coupling with time-stepping finite element method and the vector Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model is applied to analyze the magnetizing field.
